Meat Loaf with Potatoes
KAFTA U BATAATA BI SSANIEH
Prepare meat as for Kafta in a Tray. Spread the meat
on an oiled tin or baking pan. Cover with a layer of thickly
sliced boiled potatoes topped with a layer of sliced tomatoes.
Combine a cup of tomato juice with salt and pepper to taste
and pour over the vegetables. Bake in a moderate oven until
the meat is well cooked and the sauce has thickened like gravy.
